First blog post ever, in this exciting project where I help people become as awesome and famous as I am! The joy! Back to business...after reading through a massive load of rules, I've decided to make a start on it.
At the moment, what I'm doing now is working through excel, trying out ideas I had in my mind to see if they will work in practice. Mr Dickson mentioned several ideas that we can use. Right now, I'm stuck in the oldest problem in the history of mankind: how do you add one??. Hopefully, I'll find the answer next week. Discussing many different possibilities, I settled on the idea of boxes that kept track of the number of attendees in each category, rather than a more visual representation.
Reasons for this are numerous, my most dominant one being that its more versatile, and simple. I'm open to creating a visual representation later, as well as other options which I think is important, as this is the first day on the project and I will almost definitely change my mind later on about my format.
